Rose and Cabbage Show this Saturday (23rd)

Please pop along and support the Hayle Rose and Cabbage Show this Saturday (23rd July). Only £1.50 entry! Lots of lovely veg! If you think the vegetables can't match yours, then you know you should enter next year...

It is open to visitors from 11 - 6 in the Hayle Daycare Centre.

 

Those of you who have entered, you need to take your produce down there on Friday evening between 7 and 9, or on Saturday morning between 7 and 8:45.

There is still room on tomorrow's

FOOD GROWING WORKSHOP

Saturday 2nd April  - 10am till 3pm 

  • Approx 10 -12 am: Theory, Phillack Church Vestry, meet at allotment #11 at 10 then walk up to the church
  • Approx 12 - 3 pm: Practical, on the plots

Interested in learning how to grow your own vegetables? Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change's Ruth Swale will be visiting Hayle Allotments to give a theory session on growing your own, followed by on site advice and help - she will even dig!
