Flower Planting Day Sunday 4th December!
Allotment BBQ Sunday 18th September 4pm CANCELLED AGAIN!! SORRY!
Hello all - here is a plan for the BBQ on Sunday 18th September from 4pm, which will NOT go ahead because the forecast hasn't materialised and it's way too windy to be fun. Sorry everyone. We might need to rethink this - anyone fancy a night in the pub instead?
Allotment BBQ Sunday 11th September 4pm
Hello all - here is a plan for the BBQ on Sunday 11th September from 4pm, which will be postponed if it is raining or excessively windy, but will go ahead otherwise.

Blooming Hayle - Allotment Society Stall on Sunday 26th June
BLOOMING HAYLE
Hayle Allotment Society will be running a stall on King George's Walk on Sunday 26th June (2-5) at the Hayle in Bloom family celebration day.
The idea is to sell allotment produce and cakes to raise money and awareness of the Society, and to support Hayle in Bloom and generally be community-minded.
Please let Aimee know if you can help or donate allotment produce and/or cakes. So far, I have kind offers of potatoes from Sue and Steve and Nigel, bagged salad from Tina and Jane, cakes and produce from Carole and Joanna, and I have mangetout / sugarsnaps and some courgette and parsley plants.
If people could drop stuff off to Aimee's house on the morning (13 Caroline Row) or bring it along on the day, that would be fabulous. I will probably pop up to the allotments Sunday morning too, so you can hand stuff over if you see me.
Seed Swop - Bucket of Blood Monday 30th May 8pm
Carole and Aimee are planning to meet in the Bucket of Blood at 8pm on Monday night (30th May) to SWOP SEEDS. Please come if you have seeds to swop or just want to get something new and interesting to plant.
Easter Bunnies
Social Secretary Joanna organised a fantastic Easter Egg Hunt on the Allotments on Easter Sunday.
Nineteen children took part in challenges including "find a chive plant", "find an aphid" and "spot some rabbit droppings" (outside the fences, obviously) and an egg and spoon race. The all important cake was provided by Joanna, Wendy C, Aimee and Sophie and lots of people including Dick donated eggs for a raffle.
£12.50 was raised towards allotment funds!
Many thanks to all concerned.
