UPDATE #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Hayle police will be visiting the allotments at 2pm on Sunday, so if you would like advice on security / to show support for the allotments / to encourage the police to keep an eye out for us then please come along for a chat. Ellie the Town Clerk has kindly also been in touch with the local police to request patrols to the site.

ALLOTMENT ATTACKS:

Several allotment sheds and greenhouses have been damaged overnight on 14th February.

Numbers 2,6,7,30,18 and 20 have been attacked with rocks and have damage to shed windows or greenhouses which needs fixing.

I have contacted those people who are members of the Society and therefore have given me their numbers, but if any members have contact details for those people who are not members, could you please let them know?

People who have suffered damage need to call the police on tel 101 (non urgent number) and log the crimes, because we need to have a record if this happens again. Simon A () will collect the crime numbers so we can link them.

This is extremely disappointing and I would like to express my sympathy to people whose property has been damaged.

Perhaps anyone who is not a member of the society could also consider joining so that I can have your contact details in case this happens again?
