Hi everyone - Anita from plot 19. Just thought I would let you know we have had potato blight this week. We've dug up those affected & treated any remaining plants but I notice there are a couple of other plots with blight.
We also seem to have a bees nest in the ground in our plot - someone from the bee farm is coming to look at that tomorrow for us. Will keep you posted with that one.

Quick update - the bees are miner bees. They don't generally sting & are apparently quite good for the soil!

Have you left the bees there then? Apparently they don't stay? Mining Bees & Ground Nesting Wasps
It will be great to have a hive of honey bees next year, especially if the wild flower meadow takes off
Sorry to hear about the potato blight though. Which varieties were you growing?
