Compost
I have been contacted by the Council stating they have received a complaint from a plot holder about the mess where the compost was delivered. I have been in discussions with Nigel and if anyone who has taken compost could help to clean up the area, Nigel will come up with a blower and finish off the area. Could you please pass this around the plot holders to ensure everyone knows about it.
The Council have asked me to remind plot holders if you have compost delivered to ensure you put tarpauline down to avoid a mess being made, they have also asked me to point out that hose pipes should not be used
Thank you
Regards Simon

Gates are open deliberately!
Hello all - the wind has damaged the allotment gates so that the central fastener has come off, so I have left one side fastened open to reduce the pressure on the rock that is currently holding the gate in place! I will email Elly at the council about the problem.
Happy Christmas to you all, Aimee

Burial Extension Plot - Plan
As you may have noticed the weeds have shot up again on the burial plot, they are going to be re sprayed and the area is going to have grass sown. In the new year we will be asking who would like a border on this site to plant flowers. The size will depend on how many people would like a border. If alot of people require a flower border then I will plan the border numbers and pull names out of a hat for where your border will be. This area is the next planned area for any planned extensions of the cementry, so the borders could be withdrawn at short notice. If you wish you can email me now with your interest in a border plot and please spread the word as not everyone uses the WWW
