The Hayle Rose and Cabbage Society will be holding a Plant Sale on Saturday 7th May at Phillack Church Hall.
Dobies Seed Order - will be sending it off on 5th April - + Asparagus? Anyone interested?
If you would like to order seeds from Dobie's, I am planning to order some next week. I have catalogues and order forms - get in touch if you want one.
If we spend over £50 we get 1/3 off the SEEDS only.
I need your orders this weekend if we are to send off a group order on 5th April.

Handyperson - help for older people or those with disabilities
Cornwall County Council provide a low cost handyperson service £12.50 per hour or £7.50 if you claim certain benefits, plus the costs of any materials used.
But if you need help with shed erection or anything else, please let Aimee or someone else from the Allotment Society Committee know because there are plenty of willing helpers.
Allotment Society Meeting on Friday 25th March - the Minutes - see what you missed!
The Society met at Phillack Church Hall for the first time on Friday 25th March at 7:30pm, for lovely cake made by Joanna and tea and coffee organised by Caroline - thank you.
Howard Lyons deftly chaired the inaugural meeting and supervised the election of Society officers:

Excellent compost made in Hayle - £15 a ton
The friendly and helpful Green Waste Company on the edge of Lelant makes great compost from green waste and can deliver it to your allotment. Plots 11 and 12 had a recent delivery of a couple of tons for £30 and are busy digging it in.
If you want to arrange your own, the minimum delivery is 2 tons (but you can share with a neighbour).
